You will be seen by an experienced nurse, without an appointment. X-ray is available at some locations. They will not treat old injuries, i. In these cases you will be referred back to the surgery. The nurse practitioners are authorised to request X-rays. If you require an X-ray outside of these hours you will be referred to the Accident and Emergency department at Leicester Royal Infirmary. More serious injuries such as deep cuts, severe burns and facial injuries may also need to be referred to Leicester Royal Infirmary.
